WHERE DOES YOUR MONEY GO?

We have established a number of charitable funds to accept your contributions. In honour of a special occasion, in memory of a loved one or to celebrate good fortune, each fund is unique. Your charitable gift is appreciated by the synagogue and our community.

TORAH FUND
Administered by our Rabbi, this fund is used to support community members, families and institutions in time of need, and to provide continuing Jewish education in our community.

CHAPEL FUND
Donations to this fund are used to provide and sustain religious articles for our sanctuary and chapel.

KIDDUSH FUND 
Supports Kiddushim for our congregation after Shabbat and Yom Tov Services.

 Safety and security are fundamental. We're dedicated to enhancing the physical and psychological safety of our community while reinforcing a resilient Jewish ecosystem.

JASON YEHOSHUA FRIEDBERG MEMORIAL STUDY AND RESOURCE CENTRE (YOUTH LIBRARY)
Your donation is used to stock and maintain the special synagogue library dedicated to our own Jason Friedberg Z’’L whose life was tragically ended by Arab terrorists in Israel.

FAMILY PROGRAMMING FUND
To help maintain family oriented religious and non-religious programming.

EDUCATION FUND
Hebrew Academy Afternoon School is our Jewish educational program housed in Beth Tikvah for secular educated children who are looking for an afterschool program focusing on Jewish tradition and celebrating Jewish pride.

YOUTH OUTREACH FUND
Provides Leadership training; special and new programming to enable us open new doors for our youth.

PERSONAL MEMORIAL FUNDS
Memorial funds are established by a family in consultation with our Rabbi in memory of a loved one. The donations are administered for special programs or areas, in keeping with the wishes of the family.
